Choosing The Right Picture
Feel free to send me plenty of photos of your pet! This helps me get to know them better, and we can collaborate to choose the best image for the final piece. For the final artwork, please provide a clear, high-quality image (emailing is preferred over WhatsApp to maintain quality). Make sure the eyes are clear and visible, good lighting is essential (avoid dark photos), and the angle is well-framed. If the image appears fuzzy when zoomed in, it will be challenging for me to work from it. I understand that some may not have the perfect reference photo due to surprises or the subject having passed, and in those cases, we’ll work together to create a beautiful portrait.
How long will it take?
I will provide you with an estimated timeline when you place your order This can range from a few days to several weeks, depending on my current workload, the size of the drawing, and its complexities. If you have a tight deadline, please let know so we can work together on a suitable solution. Please note that there may be an 'overtime' fee for expedited requests, and I only rush artwork if time allows. Throughout the project, I'll keep you updated on the progress via email or WhatsApp to ensure you're satisfied with the composition, colors, and more. In the initial stages, feel free to share any concerns or requests for changes, especially with drawings, as they require careful handling. Before delivery, I'll send you a photo of the finished portrait for your approval, and we can make any minor adjustments if you're not completely satisfied.
How do I get my Art?
You can arrange for collection in person or through your own courier/Uber in Edenvale, East Rand during office hours. If you're unable to pick up, I can also arrange to courier the items to you, with the courier fees added to your final invoice once the drawing is completed. Please note that courier fees will be quoted separately. For international shipments, be aware that you may incur import taxes, fees, and customs duties imposed by the customs office your destination, which are not included in the courier fee quote and vary based on the destination country's regulations.
